The Concert For Peace was organised by Janie Dee and
took place at The Theatre Royal, Drury Lane, London on March 23, 2003
at 7:30pm. They had one rehearsal on that day from 11am - 7pm, which
unfortunately David was unable to attend. The gala was directed by Ian
Talbot and the whole thing was arranged in 4 weeks time!! Each artist
or group performed a reading or song that had particular meaning to
them, or to the evening's cause. Ticket prices were £10, £15, £20, £25
or £50. All of the money raised went to charities which help victims of
war, including the Red Cross, Amnesty International, Oxfam and CARE
