The strip was the brain child of reporter Stuart Bathgate from The Scotsman. He was kind enough to share his copy of the strip with me for the webpage for your enjoyment! He is the man who appears in the strip as well as his wife, and the baby girl he is holding in one shot is his now 20 year old daughter! He also told me that David and Jenny were only paid a pub lunch for their work!
