David stars in the 1999 film L.A. Without A Map, which filmed in Yorkshire as well as LA. During shooting they encountered weather problems, but not what you might think, in LA they filmed during the El Nino storms so they stood around waiting for sun and back in Yorkhire when the director counted on gloomy clouds they got a bright sunny day!
