On October 24th and 25th 2009 CBBC took The Sarah Jane Adventures cast and crew on the road to the Liverpool ONE Odeon for a special sneak preview of The Wedding of Sarah Jane. In addition to the screen there was face painting, green screen acting, a chance to meet Mr. Smith, K-9 and the Judoon
Tommy Knight, Daniel Anthiny and Anjli Mohindra were also on hand for autographs and pictiures and a Q & A session. All of the events plus the screening were free.

November 1, 2009 - This was a recorded clip of David commenting about Matt Smith being the new Doctor. November 14, 2009 - David was interviewed by Jo's son Jude - who is a big Doctor Who fan. November 15, 2009 - He participated in a re-occurring segment of hers called Road Trip - where the celebrity gets to pick three songs, a vehicle and a destination - his guest voice as the 'sat-nav' was John Barrowman. David chose to go to Australia in the Beatles Yellow Submarine. August 15, 2010 - Jo played a recorded clip of David saying: "Hello, this is David Tennant instructing you to put some clothes on, although frankly, come on, leave them off." October 10, 2010 - She started the interview by wishing him Happy David Tennant Day and she had a box of Cadbury Roses for him. He talked about filming Fright Night and Single Father. They played a game called Learn Your Lines - David had to complete his own lines from various programmes. They played a funny message from Catherine Tate and answered listener questions. June 21, 2011 -This was a phone interview - he talked about doing Much Ado About Nothing, his dressing room and what music he's listening to.

Company magazine ran an article in 1997 called "Boys on Top" about the top Celtic pin-ups! If you are not familiar with the video game LittleBigPlanet let me tell you that not only can you customize the little guy that runs around the world swinging and jumping but you can create your own worlds and characters. Many people post Doctor Who/David Tennant scenes they have made but this video is amazing. This person has created scenes from six of David's projects, Hamlet, This is Jinsy, Fright Night, L.A. Without a Map, Casanova, and Doctor Who. IMHO it's one of the best I've seen!!!
The Big Question segments for The End of Time were with David, Russell T. Davis and Julie Gardner. These were the questions: Lucy Saxon and a million Masters, The Doctor faces his destiny and Wilf facing Minnie Hooper, what was your one favourite moment from episode 17? How would you describe the development of Wilf and his relationship with the Doctor? The Time Lords are back (hurray) how much persuasion/money/chocolate biscuits would it take to entice you back into the world of Doctor Who? The final two episodes are full of secrets and mysteries, now that your leaving can you each give us a secret that you can at last reveal? The final two episodes are among the most the most dramatic and emotional, like ever! Was making them a sad farewell or a happy crescendo?
The Big Question was a segment that started at the beginning of Doctor Who series four on the BBC website. David and Catherine's chemistry with each other off screen is really apparent in these clips. Each weeks question was related to the episode for that week, for example - "This weeks episode is called Partners in Crime, have you had any favourite duos and what do you like about them? Here is a list of the rest of the questions from David's era: The Fires of Pompeii - This weeks episode is about a famous event in history, if you were given a chance to change history, A: Would you risk it and B: Which event would you try to change? Planet of the Ood - Ood are the servants of man, if you were each other's servants what would you refuse to do for each other? Forest of the Dead - In the episode the people are saved by living in a computer, if you were the center of your own computer generated fantasy world what would be in it. Midnight - This episode is about a mad vacation, what's your idea of the perfect holiday, what was the worst holiday you've ever had? Turn Left - This episode is about the decisions you make in your life, if you could go back and alter one decision that would change your own life, what would that be? The Stolen Earth -The Daleks make a reappearance and they are reintroduced to their creator Davros, what was your reaction when you heard that Davros was returning and what are the pros and cons of working with the Daleks? Journey's End - This episode is the last in the series (boo), what have been the high points of working together on series four and is there a particular moment you rather not go through again?
David is currently the host of a new British quiz show called Comedy World Cup but he is no stranger to quiz shows himself this is a video of his three appearances on The Big Fat Quiz of the Year. The BFQ started on Channel Four in 2004 with three teams of two celebrities each answering questions about the news and events of the previous year and Jimmy Carr as the host. On December 26, 2005 David appeared in the studio to ask a "what happens next question" concerning his first words spoken as The Doctor. On the December 30, 2007 show there was a clip from The Doctor Who episode Blink asking the panel why it was important not to blink and he asked a question via video tape about 'balloon boy' on the 2009 quiz which aired January 1, 2010.
This is a couple of excerpts from Cult Movies Magazine's interview with John Levene, who played Sgt. Benton in Doctor Who. It was done right before Matt became the 11th Doctor, he is quite clearly a David Tennant fan, which I am sure would make David smile!
In the age of the DVD and You Tube we are all fortunate to be able to see outtakes, deleted scenes and end of production cast videos of our favourite movies and TV shows. Recently the Doctor Who cast & crew video lip-synching to 500 Miles by The Proclaimers went viral. The video was created by Jennie Fava the 2nd Assistant Director and edited by Geraint Huw Reynolds. The pair also worked on cast and crew video's Extras and The Robinson's, oh and Blackpool! Jennie was the 3rd AD on Blackpool. Watch for David at 2:14 and then at the end there are outtakes you can see him at 4:26.
Romeo, Romeo - where for art thou Romeo! Well today he's on my blog - this is an oh so brief clip of David as Romeo from the 2000 RSC production of Romeo and Juliet. If you are in the UK you can request to view the whole play on DVD - for free - at the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust.
BBC Four controller Richard Klein was quoted in The Hollywood Reporter on April 4,2012 talking about Spies of Warsaw. "I think David

The article described the plot: "Tennant is cast as a military attache at the French embassy drawn

The BBC teamed up with TV chef Jaimie Oliver's production company Fresh Pictures for this mini-series, this will be the first drama for their company.

This blurb was in reference to The Ashes final played on September 12, 2005, England v. Australia. England was victorious, winning an historic victory and bringing the Ashes back home to England. The whole nation was riveted to the telly - apparently even in Cardiff! Although I suspect that this hault in production might haven more motivated by the crew than the star!

The quote appeared in a review about Blackpool by Jaci Stephhen.
During the filming of Blackpool the cast had a lipsync coach, David Morrissey described the process in an article about the series in The Times, November 26, 2004. "She would sit in front of you as you sang and give you notes about the personality of the singer as well as the technical side. It was a massive excersice: you have the lyrics and listen endlessly to the songs." The series did shoot for one month on location in Blackpool but the interior of Ripley's arcade was in a North London studio.
Russell T Davies did an in depth interview with The Times on November 23, 2004 and was asked who was his favourite Doctor - he gave his answer by quoting what David had to say in another interview. Russell was filming Casanova at the time of the interview so I imagine he and David were talking about Who. David has stated in the past he spent a great deal of that shoot trying to get Russell to give him a part in the new series. "Who was your favourite Doctor Who?" "Tom Baker. David Tennant said in an interview that was really a case of a man and a part just meeting and the fireworks taking off."
ED NOTE: I think the same could be said of David's time as The Doctor as well!
David is a man of many accents not just English (RP) and American - you can listen to his excellent Brummie (Birmingham) accent in the 2003 Radio 4 production of The Rotter's Club. David played three roles, Bill Anderton, Malcolm and Fudge.
The play was transmitted in four 30 minute episodes and starred James Bradshaw and Frank Skinner and also featured David Troughton who appears in the Midnightepisode of Doctor Who and he is also the son of Patrick Troughton, the 2nd Doctor.
David used his amazing vocal talents to perform an iconic American character, George Milton, from John Steinbeck's Of Mice and Men. Once again his regional American accent and performance were praised! You can compare for yourself - here is the same dialogue from the Gary Sinise 1992 movie version and David's version.
David was nominated for an Olivier Award for his performance as Jeff in 2002 production of The Lobby Hero. The character spoke with an American accent and was clearly well received, unlike all of the press that went out after a clip of him speaking with an American accent in the US pilot Rex is Not Your Lawyer.

The audio book version of The Beasts of Clawstone Castle is narrated by David, with an RP accent and in places an American one as well. It was released on May 5, 2005 but if you pick up a copy make sure it is the UK version, the US audio book is narrated by Jenny Sterlin.
The producer of the recording was Tamsin Collinson, who also produced Quite Ugly One Morning, which David also reads.

David played the role ofGethin Price in the 2001 Oxford Stage Company touring production of The Comedians. Written by Trevor Griffiths the play takes place in
a schoolroom near Manchester where an evening class of budding comics is meeting for a final briefing from their tutor before facing an
agent’s man from London.
Gethin is described as probably the smartest man there, with brilliant skills at mimicry and mime, but a mouth of obscenities and a nihilistic approach that seeks to deny the audience any comfort or even any laughs.
David had to shave his head for the role, here is a great picture of him in a classic scene from the play with Gethin and two manaquins.
You can put pictures of David together from right after that period and watch his hair grow back! LOL
